Open Houses

Open Houses are a great way to preview many homes in one day. Every Saturday and Sunday you will find several open houses, usually in the afternoon. You can take your time walking around the home and get a feel for the home and the neighborhood.? Some open house visitors are just starting to think about buying a home and this is their first step. So if you might be in the market for a home in the future, this might be the right activity for this weekend. And it’s okay to bring the children along. There will be an agent there to help you if you have any questions.

There will be an open house at 4815 Umber Court at Heatherwood Village in Carrollwood, Sunday, July 15 from 1-3 PM. Please stop by.

If you would like more information please call Jeannie at 813-350-0209.

New Home Developement Springing up in South Shore

There are at least 20,000 homes on the drawing board for South Hillsborough county, Florida. While developers admit the market is a challenge, people are still moving to Florida.

A ride along U.S. Highway 301 in southern Hillsborough County will show you the local and nationally known builders are moving forward with communities that have been in the planning stages for several years. Since the land was purchased before prices skyrocketed developers are confident they can offer a product to buyers at a more reasonable cost then other areas, such as South Tampa and Carrollwood in Hillsborough County.

What new homeowners are discovering, because of it?s easy access to the interstate system, it?s worth the savings to live in South Shore and commute to Tampa and surrounding cities. Along with the high numbers of inventory homes the market is experiencing, builders are offering great incentives and upgrade packages that are making the move to Apollo Beach, Riverview, Ruskin, Sun City and surrounding communities hard to resist.

As the number of rooftops continue to rise so do the amenities and just within the last year alone, new and renovated shopping centers are cropping up along with them, opening up job opportunities close to home, while offering everyday conveniences to South Shore residents.

South county?s largest residential developement, Waterset by Newland Communities, will have 5,000 homes when completed. The developement along U.S 41 is underway with it?s first phase of home construction. The first 192 homes in Waterset will be ready by next year.

If you would like additional information on any of the new communities in South Shore give Ticia or Larz Kervel a call at 813?441?0400 or contact our website at www.smartrealestatemarketing.com
