Q. Where is Sun City Center Located
A.Sun City is located in Hillsborough county, Florida, in the central section of the Florida west coast, only 8 miles from the saltwater beaches of Tampa Bay. It is 25 miles south of Tampa on state rd 674 between I-75 and U.S 301, and 30 miles north of Sarasota.
Q. Is there any age requirement for Sun City Center residents?
A. Yes. One Occupant must be at least 55 years of age. No Residents under 18 years are permitted. However, there is no age restriction to purchase a home in Sun City Center and there are exceptions being?made on to be built homes.
Q. Can a home be rented when not in residence ?
A.? Yes. Renters must comply with the age restriction. Other restrictions apply in some areas concerning minimum rental periods.
Q. What type of residences are available ?

Tampa Florida Is Rated In The Top 25 Most Vital Cities In America

According to Moody?s Economy.com Tampa ranks the 15th most vital city in America. What?s lifting Tampa Bay?s economy is new business and job growth. Companies like Coca Cola, JP Morgan Chase, Metlife, PricewaterhouseCoopers are just some of the companies that have established major operations here. ?I?m fairly optimistic about Florida and it?s economy??said Per Berglund, senior economist for Moody?s economy.com. Business diversity has reall improved in recent years, thanks to groth in the business and professional services industry.
In 2001 Coca Cola added more than 700 new jobs to the area when they located a major financial center here. Coca Cola also recently announced they would be adding 200 more financial service jobs by the end of the year. The average annual salary for these jobs is $41,500.
For several years now,state and local officials have worked very hard to lure more financial service companies to the bay area. Thanks to there success, the unemployment?rate in the Tampa bay area in April was 3.3%. Jobs are?readily available and?very easy to find. ?That has clearly been a major attraction?, says Berglund.
